The Executive Committee of United Northwest Side condemns the blatant intimidation tactics of the Trump administration in filing federal criminal charges against one of our members, 45th Ward Democratic Committee-person Michael Rabbitt, and against our endorsed candidate for Cook County Board, Cat Sharp.
Michael and Cat received our organization’s endorsement because we know that they are fighters who will stand up for our rights, which is precisely why Trump is targeting them. They both have our unwavering support today and tomorrow as they continue to defend immigrants, exercise their Constitutionally-protected rights of free speech, and push back against the rising tide of fascism in our Country.
